Diving, Fishing & Sailing in St. Martin
Many people come to Grand Case Beach Club to relax, spend time in the pool, or lounge on the beach, but there is a certain kind of personality that can never sit still, and for these sorts of people we recommend diving, fishing and sailing in St. Martin, West Indies. From scuba diving and fishing to world-class sailing and peaceful picnic sails, there’s just a ton of things to do on the water here. The Grand Case Beach Club actually has a “watersports desk” that is happy to organize not only sailing trips, but also dives according to your level of experience, certified divers tend to dive in the mornings and beginners during the afternoons. Please contact our watersports for your diving needs. There are also regularly scheduled two-hour snorkeling trips to Creole rock, one of St Martin’s most beautiful marine parks and directly opposite Grand Case Beach Club. This spot is considered the best snorkeling area of the whole island. These guided tours run three times a day. Waterskiing, wakeboarding, tubing, and kneeboarding are all popular aquatic activities on Saint Martin, and the Grand Case Beach Club is particularly lucky because we’re located on one of the calmest bays in the Caribbean. It’s a great way to get introduced to these sports, or to perfect your form. If you want adventure but don’t want to get (too) wet, why not take a cruise? Trips to Anguilla, St Barths, Tintamarre, Pinel, St Martin island tours, sunset cruises and sunset dinner cruises are available from our resort. And, once a year, there’s the opportunity to race multi-million dollar America’s Cup Race Boats in the warm blue waters and brisk trade winds of the Caribbean – the the St. Maarten “America’s Cup” 12 Metre Challenge. But more on that next time. Charles Edwards frequently blogs about diving, fishing & sailing in St. Martin.
