Deposit Refunds

As you are likely aware, the island of St. Martin was viciously hit by Hurricane Irma on September 6th. GCBC was severely impacted, and we will be looking at several months of hard work to bring us back to a “guest ready and welcoming” status.

The exact date of reopening is reliant on so many variables, some of which we still do not know. Do be assured that we will do whatever it takes to get back in operation, and the sooner that will be, the happier we will be!

We will keep you posted both on our website www.gcbc.com and our Facebook page. We are still without Internet, and have to rely on individuals who allow us to share theirs, but this should be improving over the next week or so. At that point, we will sort out our reservations system to allow refunds, re-bookings and future reservations. We still are not able to do any but the most basic banking functions, so your patience and understanding is appreciated and much needed We have had some clients that have asked that their deposits be applied to future stays, and we are pleased to do that, as well as some who have requested that their deposits be put towards the Employee Relief Fund that was initiated by the family of one of our owners, and of course, we would be honored to make those donations in your names. The support that has been shown is tremendous!

As a reminder, if you booked through www.gcbc.com or directly through the resort, you may contact us via email at reservations@gcbc.com. Please keep in mind, representatives will reach out to those with the earliest arrival dates first.

Please do use the form below when contacting us, as it will help speed the process.

YOUR INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR FUNDS

Please be aware that basic communications and banking is still severely limited, and we will be working through the reservations from September 6th forward. For those who have disputed a credit card charge to receive a refund, please let us know, so we do not contest it.

If you booked your stay through a travel agent or 3rd party provider, you will need to contact them directly to cancel your reservation, according to their cancellation policy.
